The Art of the glass bead has been registered since 2020,

to the intangible cultural heritage of humanity

My passion for glass , goes back as far as I can remember, to the fascination that the stained glass windows, the through light and the flamboyant colors exerted on me.

This one not having left me, I discovered about 8 years ago the work of glass spun with a torch.

The possibility of being able to transform matter by fire in order to create your own pieces.

My dual power torch (propane and oxygen) is used to heat the glass rods

(Effetre glass) from Murano .

The molten glass is then worked on a mandrel to obtain the desired beads.

All original and unique creations are annealed in a professional oven for 6 hours to ensure their strength and longevity.

Inspiration:

A little detour through photography ...

Over the past 25 years, I have observed and photographed a lot the beauty of what I was given to see, the aquatic, mineral, vegetal and cosmic world.

Eau forêt de Huelgoat

To create a microcosm in my creations, I first proceed by the technique of blowing to obtain on a sphere, a mixture of colors and matter. I then take from this one, a pattern that inspires me and insert it hot in a cabochon that I realize.

The magic and the nobility of glass become with an unceasingly creative spirit a true work of art and will give free rein to your imagination ...
